Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: April 5, 2026
1. Introduction
LuckyPulse ("we," "us," or "our") is a lottery number generator designed for entertainment purposes only. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data. This policy applies to the LuckyPulse iOS app and the website at luckypulse.app.
By using LuckyPulse, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you are located in the European Economic Area, we rely on your consent or other lawful bases as described in Section 8.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you set up your profile, you may provide:
- Birthday (date of birth)
- Favorite color
- Lucky number
- Preferred time of day
- Element preference (fire, water, earth, air)
- Lucky day of the week
This profile data is stored on your device using local storage. It is not transmitted to our servers.
Information derived from your profile
Your zodiac sign is automatically derived from your birthday. Whenever you generate numbers (free or Pro), your zodiac sign may be sent to third-party APIs to fetch horoscope and cosmic data used in number generation. See Section 4 for details on these third-party services.
Information collected automatically
- Purchase and subscription data: Processed by Apple through the App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We receive an anonymous user ID and subscription status — we do not receive or store your payment card details.
- IP address:Your device's IP address may be exposed to third-party API providers as part of standard HTTP communication when the app fetches news, horoscope data, planetary positions, or historical lottery draws.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Profile preferences: Used on-device to personalize the number generation engines.
- Zodiac sign: Derived from your birthday and used on-device for number generation. When you generate numbers (free or Pro), your zodiac may also be sent to a third-party horoscope API to fetch personalized cosmic data.
- Subscription status: Used to determine which features are unlocked (e.g., unlimited daily readings vs. one free reading per day).
- News and data feeds: Used to display lottery-related articles, historical draw data, and cosmic information within the app.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The following third-party services may receive limited data as part of the app's functionality:
- Apple: Processes App Store purchases and manages subscriptions. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription state using anonymous identifiers. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Horoscope API provider: Receives your zodiac sign (derived from your birthday) and your IP address when fetching daily horoscope data during any number generation (free or Pro).
- Astronomical API provider: Receives your IP address when fetching planetary position data.
- Lottery data providers: Receive your IP address when fetching historical draw results.
- Google News: Receives your IP address when fetching lottery news articles.
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising or cross-context behavioral targeting.
5. Data Storage & Retention
- Profile data: Stored locally on your device only. Persists until you delete the app or clear its data. We do not maintain any server-side database of your profile information. Retention: until app deletion.
- Subscription data: Retained by RevenueCat and Apple for the duration of your subscription and as required by their respective retention policies. Retention: per RevenueCat and Apple policies.
- API request data (IP address, zodiac sign): We do not store this data. Third-party API providers may log requests per their own policies. Retention: not stored by us.
- News and lottery data: Cached temporarily on your device for performance. Retention: temporary, cleared on app restart.
When you uninstall the app, all locally stored profile data is automatically deleted from your device.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Because your personal profile data is primarily stored locally on your device, exposure to server-side data breaches is inherently limited. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law, including California Civil Code 1798.82 and GDPR Articles 33-34.
7. Your Privacy Rights
All users
Since your profile data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times:
- Access: View all your data within the app at any time.
- Edit: Update your profile information within the app.
- Delete: Remove all data by deleting the app or clearing its data in your device settings.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. These include:
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes for collection, and the third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We collect your birthday, which may be considered sensitive personal information. This data is stored locally on your device and used solely for number generation personalization.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
Categories of personal information collected (CCPA categories):
- Identifiers: Anonymous user ID (via RevenueCat)
- Personal characteristics: Birthday, zodiac sign (stored on device)
- Internet or electronic network activity: IP address (incidental, via API requests)
- Commercial information: Subscription purchase history (via Apple/RevenueCat)
Because LuckyPulse stores your profile data locally on your device, you can exercise your access, edit, and deletion rights directly within the app. For requests regarding data processed by third-party providers (RevenueCat, Apple), or to submit a verifiable consumer request, contact us at [email protected]. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.
8. European Economic Area Residents (GDPR)
If you access the app from the EEA, the following additional information applies:
Legal basis for processing
- Consent: Profile data you voluntarily provide (birthday, color, lucky number, element, etc.)
- Contract performance: Subscription and payment processing
- Legitimate interest: Fetching news and lottery data to provide app functionality
You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your profile data within the app or uninstalling the app. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Your GDPR rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, restriction of processing, and objection. Since your profile data is stored locally, these rights are exercised directly on your device.
International data transfers
When you use the app, certain data (your IP address and, during number generation, your zodiac sign) may be transferred to servers located in the United States through our third-party service providers (RevenueCat, Apple, API providers). These transfers are necessary to provide the app's functionality. By using the app, you acknowledge these transfers.
Automated decision-making
The app uses algorithmic engines to generate lottery numbers based on your profile. This processing is performed entirely on your device and does not constitute automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For any data-related requests, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
9. "Do Not Track" Signals
Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals, LuckyPulse does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do not track your activity across third-party websites or online services.
10. Cookies & Website
Our website at luckypulse.app does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. We do not use any third-party analytics services on our website. The website may use essential cookies required for basic functionality (such as page routing), but these do not collect personal information.
11. Children's Privacy
LuckyPulse is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app requires users to be at least 18 years old to create a profile.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can take appropriate action. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app and on our website, and updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
